Accomplishments

• During his tenure, the fire department was able to add additional full-time paid staff to decrease response times and increase the level of service to the community. The addition of the paramedic ambulances brought the much needed and more timely care for Scott Township residents.

• Keith developed and implemented a physical fitness program and a hazardous materials team for the firefighters to make sure they were fully prepared to help residents when needed.

• Keith wore many hats and was involved in many areas of hospital operations during his time working for St. Mary's/St. Vincent. His career began as the EMS Manager for the hospital and evolved into holding responsibility for the entire emergency management, safety, and security of the hospital/health system.

• In the last few years before retiring his responsibilities expanded further to serve the entire Southwest Region of hospitals in the Ascension St Vincent system.
