RENTAL POLICIES

1. Lessee agrees to abide by all Rules and Regulations. To be provided with rental and as posted at the Park.
2. Rental applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations may be made for the current operating year and up to one full calendar year in advance.
3. Lessee must be 21 years of age on the day of signing this contract.
4. Lessee must be present at the Facility during the event and hold a copy of the rental receipt on their person at all times.
5. Lessee agrees to be responsible for the conduct of all guests and invitees of the Lessee. All children under the age of 18 should be supervised at all times. Max guest capacity is 40 people.
6. Rental will be available for use at 9:00 am on the day of rental. The facility must be cleaned and vacated no later than 7:00 pm or 30 minutes before sundown, whichever comes first, on the day of rental.
7. All required paperwork and rental fees must be completed at least two (2) business days prior to the rental date to secure your reservation. Weekend days are not included in the two-day requirement.
8. Lessee agrees to leave the facility in a clean state, as approved by the Township Park personnel. If the facility is not left in a clean state, additional charges for cleaning will be billed to the Lessee in the amount of $25 per hour. Deposit will be forfeited.
9. Lessee will be responsible for additional fees charged for damage to the Shelterhouse or park. Deposit will be forfeited.
10. Lessee will remove all personal belongings and decorations on the day of the rental or they will be discarded. The Township Park will not be responsible for any articles left in the building.
11. Lessee will obtain a rental key card and return the rental key card from the Scott Township Trustee’s office located at 1135 Hoing Rd, Evansville, IN 47725
12. Fireworks are not allowed on the property.
13. Alcohol, in moderation, is permitted outdoors at the Facility but PROHIBITED indoors at the Facility at ALL times [IC 7.1-5-8]. Intoxicated individuals are PROHIBITED at the Facility at all times. If Lessee intends to serve alcohol at the Facility, a Temporary Beer and Wine Permit Application must be completed and approved through the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission. Lessee must provide (Note: some permits take 4-6 weeks)
14. The use of grills and open flames, including but not limited to smoking, is strictly prohibited inside the Facility. The use of grills outdoors at the Facility is allowed at the discretion of the Lessor. Use of grills MUST be added to the reservation prior to use of the Facility [no additional fee required].
15. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the facility, including vaping. Birthday candles are permitted; however, all other candles or open flames are prohibited.
16. Do not use staples, glue or tape on walls or tables.
17. Do not tamper with doors or locks.
18. Lessee agrees that food trucks will need to provide a COI, pay an additional fee of $50 to the Township and place a private party marker.

By signing below, the Applicant confirms that they have read and understand the terms and conditions of this application and certifies that the information provided is true and accurate. The Applicant also confirms that they are of legal age and authorized to submit this application. All applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. A staff member from Scott Township’s Trustee’s office will be in touch to complete the process.
